The Night When Silence Won

On April 4, 2025, my life changed forever.

I was diagnosed with Philadelphia-Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Suddenly, life became measured by blood counts, treatments, and uncertainty. There were many days when words simply weren't enough.

So I began to paint.

The white center represents the light that remained within me.
The darkness surrounding it came to represent fear, treatment, isolation, and uncertainty.
Yet beyond that darkness...
life continued in full color.

Friends laughed.
Children played.
Families gathered.
The world kept moving.

Even when I couldn't fully participate in that world... the prayers of others became the bridge between those two worlds.

FROM SOUL TO SOUL

Before there was a name...
before there was a face...
there was simply gratitude.

THE Circle of Light

As I read my donor's words and reflected on the countless prayers, acts of kindness, and quiet sacrifices that carried me through leukemia, it proves we are all connected–all part of the same Circle of Light.

This song is my thank you—to my donor, my medical team, my family, my friends, and to every person whose kindness became part of my journey.

KEEP THE CIRCLE OF LIGHT GROWING

Every stem cell donor.

Every physician.

Every nurse.

Every caregiver.

Every family member.

Every friend.

Every stranger.

Every prayer.

Every quiet "yes."

Every act of love...

becomes part of someone’s story.

Someone you may never meet may be waiting for your quiet "yes."
